چکیده

To improve knowledge of this matter, the potential application two gridded meteorological products (GMPs), China Meteorological Assimilation Driving Datasets for SWAT model (CMADS) and Climate Forecast System Reanalysis (CFSR), are compared first time with data from ground-based stations over 6 years, 2008 to 2013, Cau River basin (CRB), northern Vietnam. Statistical indicators Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) employed investigate hydrological performances GMPs against 17 rain gauges distributed across CRB. The results show that there strong correlations between temperature reanalysis in both CMADS CFSR those obtained observations (the correlation coefficients range 0.92 0.97). overestimate precipitation (percentage bias approximately 99%) at daily monthly scales, whereas product performs better, obvious differences (compared observations) high-terrain areas. Regarding simulated river flows, CFSR-SWAT produced “unsatisfactory”, while CMADS-SWAT (R2 > 0.76 NSE 0.78) better than on scale. This assessment applicative GMPs, especially CMADS, may further provide an additional rapid alternative water resource research management basins similar hydro-meteorological conditions.

Hydrological Modeling in the Manas River Basin Using Soil and Water Assessment Tool Driven by Cmads

Original scientific paper Hydrological simulation in meteorological ungauged areas has always been a difficult problem for the study on atmospheric and hydrological coupling; meanwhile, it is also one of the important factors that restrict model development and basin water resource knowledge. To analyze the mechanism of atmospheric and hydrological coupling, this study quantitatively evaluated ...

Using Benthic Diatoms as a Bioindicator to Assess Rural-urban River Conditions in Tropical Area: A Case Study in the Sai Gon River, Vietnam

The changes in diatom assemblages along an urban-to-rural gradient were characterized to assess the ecological status of the Sai Gon River, Vietnam. Diatoms and physico-chemical variables were measured at 10 stations during dry and rainy season. One-way ANOVA showed that diatom metrics and physicochemical variables were significantly different (p < 0.05) between the upper course sites and both ...

Retrieval of Land Surface Temperature over the Heihe River Basin Using HJ-1B Thermal Infrared Data

The reliable estimation of spatially distributed Land Surface Temperature (LST) is useful for monitoring regional land surface heat fluxes. A single-channel method is developed to derive the LST over the Heihe River Basin in China using data from the infrared sensor (IRS) onboard the Chinese “Environmental and Disaster Monitoring and Forecasting with a Small Satellite Constellation” (HJ-1B for ...
